Why are there states where shipping alcohol is prohibited?

Shipping alcohol directly to consumers is regulated by individual state laws, which can vary significantly. Some states have restrictions or outright prohibitions on direct-to-consumer alcohol shipments due to concerns about:

Underage Drinking: Ensuring alcohol is not accessible to minors.

Taxation: Proper collection of state taxes on alcohol sales.

Local Business Protection: Protecting in-state alcohol retailers and distributors.

Are there quantity/weight limits on how much I can order?

Yes.

To ensure the safe delivery of your product and avoid damage, we limit orders to 35lbs or approximately:

  • Six (6) 6packs of beer
  • Six (6) 750ml spirit or Curio bottles
  • Eight (8) Curio 4packs

Additionally, some states impose limits on the quantity of alcohol that can be shipped to an individual consumer within a certain timeframe. For example:

  • Connecticut: Consumers are limited to 2 cases per person shipped directly to them every 2 months.
  • Virginia: Consumers are limited to 2 cases shipped directly to them per month.

Please refer to your state's regulations or contact our customer service for specific quantity restrictions.

Can you ship to dry counties within permissible states?

No, even in states where we can legally ship alcohol, certain counties or municipalities (known as "dry" areas) prohibit the sale and delivery of alcoholic beverages. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws. Orders placed for delivery to restricted areas will be canceled and refunded.

What are THC-Infused Beverages? Are they Safe? Legal?

Like alcohol laws, states vary in permitting the sale, shipment, and possession of beverages that are infused with THC compounds, which come from the marijuana plant. It is important to check your local laws prior to placing an order...and to join your state's movement to change the laws if they are currently blocked!

While states' age for possession may vary, we require deliveries to be received by individuals who are at least 21 years old, just like our alcohol shipments.

Our Curio products are infused with Delta-9, which is a natural product that -- with our lower dose per package or per serving -- is crafted to give you a light, relaxing buzz. It is recommended that you start with a small amount and then follow your curiosity to find the experience that best works for you.

What is the typical shipping turnaround time?

Once your order is placed, our typical processing and shipping times are as follows:

Processing Time: 2-3 business days to prepare your order for shipment.

Shipping Time: 3-7 business days, depending on your location.

Please note that these times may vary based on factors such as order volume, holidays, and carrier delays. We will provide tracking information once your order has shipped.

Is proof of age required at the time of delivery?

Yes, federal law requires that all alcohol deliveries be received by individuals who are at least 21 years old. Our delivery carriers are mandated to check a valid government-issued photo ID upon delivery to verify the recipient's age for both alcohol and THC-infused products. If no eligible individual is available to accept the delivery, the package will not be left, and re-delivery or pickup arrangements will need to be made.

How can I track my order?

Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this information to monitor the status and estimated delivery date of your package. If you have any questions or concerns about your shipment, please contact our customer service team for assistance.

What should I do if my order is damaged or incorrect?

If you receive a damaged or incorrect order, please contact our customer service team within 48 hours of delivery. Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and any relevant photos. We will work diligently to resolve the problem, which may include sending a replacement or issuing a refund, depending on the situation.

Why Are there order limits?

To ensure compliance with state and federal alcohol shipping regulations we limit cart alcohol totals to 12 items per order. Additionally, we restrict maximum weight per order to 35lbs to ensure safe delivery.
